Course Description

This one-day course (formerly known as the Experienced RiderCourse - Skills Plus) is designed for riders of two-wheeled motorcycles who are already licensed and frequently ride. The course includes riding exercises and discussions on motorcycle safety. Exercises practiced help riders hone their motorcycle skills including emergency braking, swerving, proper cornering techniques and slow speed maneuvers.
Enrollment Requirements: Student must be at least 16 years of age and hold a valid Vermont driver's license endorsed for motorcycle operation.

Course Enrollment Prerequisites

Must a driver's license endorsed for motorcycle operation.

Course Equipment Requirements

Students must bring their own street legal motorcycle. Motorcycles must be currently registered, inspected, insured and in good mechanical condition

Course Riding Gear Requirements

DOT compliant 3/4 or full-face helmet (if you do not have a helmet the program will have one available for you to use during the course)
Protective eyewear (face shield, googles, eye or sun glasses)
Sturdy over the ankle boots
Long non-flare denim pants or of a material of equivalent or better durability with no tears or holes
Long sleeved shirt or jacket
Sturdy full-fingered gloves, preferably leather

Course Completion Requirements

Attendance and participation in all class activities.
